Yoga on Quimby, WELLNESS IN THE STREET, will take place Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 8:30am to 2pm on Quimby St., Westfield, NJ. The street will be pedestrian only for this event. 

Join the Downtown Westfield Community for a FREE yoga class on Quimby Street. Satsang Yoga and Brassy Buddha Yoga Studio will lead participants of all ages and skill levels in a one hour practice from 9am until 10:15am. Kika Stretch Studio will open up the event by leading a light opening stretch. Other health and wellness providers from downtown Westfield will be on hand with demonstrations and various product offerings. Bring a mat and join us June 10th for a fun morning of mindful moving and community!

The Friends of New Jersey Festival Orchestra, the auxiliary and fund raising arm of the orchestra, has announced the selection of Westfield residents Michelle Pierce and Nicole Dossin as co-chairs of the 34th annual Tour of Notable Homes to be held on Saturday, May 12th from 10am to 3pm.

“The tour is a much-anticipated local tradition when owners of some of the area's finest homes generously throw open their doors to the public,” according to Ms. Pierce.  “There is a wide diversity of outstanding architecture and stylish décor in our community which must be seen to be fully appreciated.”

Spencer Savings Bank Selects Westfield NJ as Site of New Banking Concept

Spencer Savings Bank, a community bank headquartered in Elmwood Park, N.J., has selected Westfield, N.J. as the site for its new, technologically advanced “Financial Center”, a unique combination of a banking center and loan production office.

The Westfield Financial Center will showcase the latest transaction technology to optimize check cashing, deposits, loan payments, and other inquiries. The interactive teller machines allow customers to complete transactions using a remote-controlled, ATM-based kiosk while being virtually guided by a banker. The interactive tellers handle the more routine transactions, allowing on-site bank representatives to assist with new account openings, loan applications, loan closings and questions. The Westfield Financial Center will operate with extended hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will also be a 24-hour ATM machine available. In addition to this, Spencer will have three commercial loan officers based in Westfield to help customers with business and commercial loan needs.

NJWA Music Studio Prepares for Spring Session

The arrival of the spring season can bring so many wonderful opportunities. Among these could be taking music lessons at the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts Music Studio in Westfield.

The spring session, which runs from April to June, is available for students of all age levels, from pre-school to adult. Lessons are given in a 30, 45 or 60 minute format and students can register at any time during the semester. Classes are taught by highly skilled music educators and professional artists with degrees from prestigious universities and music programs.
