Valencia Music recently held a ribbon cutting to celebrate their opening in Downtown Westfield.  Valencia Music began as a dream by long time music instructors Jose Valencia and Kelly Bennett who not only have long performance histories, but also host student performances throughout New Jersey.  Valencia Music prides itself on giving students music instruction they deserve by focusing on process rather than product to ensure the long term learning for developing musicians independence and success.  They are dedicated to bringing the best quality and value of music lessons to families and adult students in the Union County area.

Every instructor at Valencia Music is an educated, experienced instructor, holding a BA, BM or commensurate experience and education in music. They offer reasonably priced performance opportunities to all students.  More than any other reason, however, teachers really care about teaching students the music that they want to learn. While there is a focus on teaching well-rounded student musicians who will develop an ability to read music, teachers strive to keep students motivated and engaged by working with each student individually on their own goals. Valencia School of Music believes that music should be challenging and fun.

Valencia School of Music, located at 37 Elm Street, Suite 4, offers singing, guitar, bass, ukulele, voice, piano, drum and brass lessons.  They also offer lessons in becoming a DJ – a unique class that is not offered widely in the area as well as guitar repair and maintenance.  Visit them online at www.valenciamusicnj.com, on Facebook, or by calling them at 908-967-0458.
