(January 26, 2016) – On Tuesday, February 9 at 10:00 a.m., the Westfield Memorial Library will present a workshop, “Color Your World! Coloring for Adults.” The library is located at 550 East Broad Street.

“Our hectic lives color our view of the world. Wouldn't it be great if you could just spend a few unhurried hours with a coloring book?” said Jen Schulze, head of Adult Services. “Whether you color inside or outside the lines, coloring is a fun and relaxing activity that allows you to get your creative juices flowing without the need for any artistic talent.”

The coloring patterns the library will provide are geometric, intricate, and abstract, designed to appeal to adults. All other materials will be provided as well.

The program is free and open to the public. No need to register, just stop by and be prepared to have some fun.

Founded in 1879, the Westfield Memorial Library—the community’s destination for discovery and ideas—engages minds, entertains spirits and facilitates lifelong learning for people of all ages. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. The library will be closed and Febrary 15 for Presidents' Day.
