Overview
The Westfield Public Arts Commission is working to provide enhancements to the community and quality of our downtown. In the next coming months you will start to hear about our exciting plans to make our town more beautiful, more beloved and more economically productive with public art.

- 7 Members and 2 Alternates:
The Public Arts Commission shall be composed of the following seven regular members:
(a) Class 1: one representative from the Town Council;
(b) Class 2: the Mayor or his/her designee;
(c) Class 3: the Town Historian or his/her designee;
(d) Class 4: one representative from the Board or staff of the Downtown Westfield Corporation; and
(e) Class 5: three residents of the Town of Westfield who hold no other municipal office, position, or employment.
Class 1, 2 and 3 members shall each be appointed for one-year terms. Class 4 and Class 5 members shall be appointed for two-year terms. Notwithstanding the forgoing, the initial terms of Class 5 members shall be one, two, and three years respectively.
The purpose of the Public Arts Commission is to review and consider applications for the creation of public art within the Town.
