Week of November 29: Paving Work on North Ave, Dudley Ave, and Willow Grove Rd

Please be advised that road resurfacing is expected to take place the week of November 29 on a portion of North Avenue (between Edgewood Avenue and Dudley Avenue), as well as on the entire length of Dudley Avenue and Willow Grove Road.

Road closures, detours, and parking restrictions will be in place throughout the week in these areas, which will cause travel delays. The Westfield Police Department will be assisting motorists and pedestrians, particularly in the areas of Roosevelt School and Tamaques School, and residents are asked to allow extra travel time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we thank residents for their patience as these necessary infrastructure improvements are finished before the winter temperatures delay their completion.

The work on North Avenue and Dudley Avenue will be performed by Atlantic Infrastructure on behalf of Elizabethtown Gas. Any concerns regarding this work can be directed to them at 732-899-8994. The Willow Grove Road paving is being conducted by the Town, and all questions can be directed to Dave Battaglia, Town Engineer, at (908) 789-4100, ext. 4606.
