Road Paving Updates: December 2

This week's paving work is moving quickly, and the weather has been cooperating.

The resurfacing of Dudley Avenue is now complete, and we anticipate Willow Grove Road being completed on Friday, December 3. Thanks for your patience with the road closures and detours necessary to complete this work.

We were advised this afternoon by the paving contractor for Elizabethtown Gas that they were able to begin milling and paving work today on Drake Place and Roosevelt Street. Work will continue in that area over the next few business days, specifically on the following streets:

Hort Street
Cumberland Street
Palsted Avenue
Downer Street

Leaf collection is also underway this week in these areas. To ensure that the paving work remains on schedule, Public Works may temporarily move leaf piles onto the abutting property and will return to collect them following the completion of paving next week.
