    Westfield Conservation Center

    Annual permits are required for organic waste and are sold online only for $60; no permits will be sold at the Center. During leaf season (October 25-December 19), residents may bring their leaves to the Center for disposal. Residents do not need a permit to do so during leaf season, but must show proof of residency. The drop-off recycling program remains free of charge with no permit required for plastic, cardboard, newspaper, glass, light bulbs, batteries, styrofoam, scrap metal, household electronics, clothing/shoes, and more. Day passes for bulk waste ($40 per carload) and mattress/boxspring disposal ($25 per item) are available for online purchase. For full details, visit westfieldnj.gov/conservation.
