For the final 2nd Sunday event of the year, Downtown Westfield will be debuting an Art Walk on October 14 from 12-4pm. Click here for a map of the Art Walk and Business Promotions!

Come visit our galleries and stores, to browse, shop and celebrate all of the arts. Downtown merchants will be participating by exhibiting works of talented artists, having music in their stores, offering cranberry related products, featuring artistic decorative items and accessories, showcasing hand-crafted items & more!

The talents of noted artists Harry and his wife Wende Devlin will be celebrated at this event. Harry was the illustrator and Wende was the author of 28 children’s books including the well known Cranberry series, which features illustrations and references of Westfield. The couple lived in nearby Mountainside. In addition, Harry Devlin illustrated many Westfield landmarks and streetscapes, including the Miller Cory House, the North Side Train Station, E. Broad St., and The Presbyterian Church. Some of his drawings are hanging in the Westfield Library, Reeve House, and the Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

The public is invited to attend this free fashion show that will be held on Quimby Street. Highlights will include: A fashion show lead by Lord & Taylor, Several other Westfield retailers will be in the show, each with models & outfits, Meet & greet with vendors and models after the show to talk about latest fashion trends, Quimby Street will be pedestrian only for the event & More! Come downtown on Sunday, September 9 and enjoy the show!

Westfield loves pets! Bring your family and pets to Downtown Westfield for the inaugural Dog Days of Summer on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 12pm-2pm. This new 2nd Sunday event in Downtown Westfield promises to be an exciting time on Quimby Street and will feature a pet parade, pet portraits, animal adoption, toys, and more. Stop by and join the fun! There will be pools in which the animals can cool off and Quimby Street will be closed for the event. Leashes are required. Can’t wait to see you and your pets there!

Christmas in July will take place Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 10am to 2pm on Quimby St., Westfield, NJ. The street will be pedestrian only for this event. Join the Downtown Westfield Community for this event!

Santa and Mrs. Claus are making a special visit to downtown Westfield for the July “Second Sunday” event, Christmas in July! Have your photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus on Quimby St. between 10 am and 2 pm. There will be fun, family games on Quimby St. and in-store promotions throughout downtown! Yoga on Quimby logo web 4 25 18Yoga on Quimby, WELLNESS IN THE STREET, took place Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 8:30am to 2pm on Quimby St.,Westfield, NJ. The street was pedestrian only for this event. The Downtown Westfield Community enjoyed a free yoga class on Quimby Street!

Satsang Yoga and Brassy Buddha Yoga Studio lead participants of all ages and skill levels in a one hour practice from 9am until 10:15am.

Kika Stretch Studio opened up the event by leading a light opening stretch.

Other health and wellness providers from downtown Westfield were on hand with demonstrations and various product offerings.

Each participant brought a mat for a fun morning of mindful moving and community! 

The street was pedestrian only for this event. Bathrooms were available at Ono Bowls on Quimby Street.

Participants arrived 15-30 minutes prior to set up (8:30am). Children 12 and under were accompanied by a parent.

Al fresco dining was enjoyed at our fine restaurants!

Yoga on Quimby is the first event of a new series in downtown Westfield. 2nd Sundays (Fundays!) will be a recurring series of events on the second Sunday of each month. Every month look forward to a new event in varying topics of interest. Thanks to Tricia Camino of Ono Bowls for her inspiration and assistance in organizing this first event.
