Spotlight Drama Camp, a new addition to the NJWA Summer Arts Workshop (formerly known as the Westfield Summer Workshop), is proud to provide students, in grades 6 through 12, the opportunity to sing, dance and act in a full production of Mary Poppins this July 9-27.
The day camp, which will meet on Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, will be held at the First Congregational Church of Westfield, 125 Elmer Street.
This production of Mary Poppins, based on the Mary Poppins children’s book, the Disney film and the Broadway musical, will be directed by Stefanie Santoro. Ms. Santoro holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the John J. Cali School of Music. She is a professional flautist and flute teacher. She has directed such musicals as High School Musical, Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid and Grease.
Registration for this exciting summer day camp is ongoing. Interested participants should visit the Summer Arts Workshop website at www.njwasummerworkshop.com for more information and to register online.

These camps will be located at the First Baptist Church at 170 Elm Street in Westfield. Virtuoso Chamber Music Camp, for classical instrumentalists in grades 3 to 12, and Jam-A-Rama, for rock & jazz musicians in grades 6 through 12, will both be located at the NJWA Music Studio on 150-152 East Broad Street. The Summer Arts Workshop also offers full-day and extended care options, plus flexible scheduling for busy parents.
