DWC Thanks Everyone for a Successful Yoga on Quimby Event!

The first event of Downtown Westfield Corporation's new 'Second Sundays' series kicked off with Yoga on Quimby Sunday, June 10.

Quimby Street was closed off and designated for pedestrians only for several hours Sunday for the Wellness in the Street free yoga class. Kika Stretch Studio opened up the event by leading a light opening stretch, and Satsang Yoga and Brassy Buddha Yoga Studio led participants in a one-hour practice.

Tables and tents were set up with demonstrations and signups for special deals with the participating businesses. Westfield businesses who came out included Ono Bowls, Club Pilates, Everlasting Haven Spa & Wellness Studio, Just Bead Yourself, Little Nest Portraits, R Studio Lash Spa, Athleta, The Bar Method, Patricia & Paul Artisans of Fine Oils and Balsamics, Mindfulness for Kids, Brassy Buddha Yoga, Satsang Yoga and Kika Stretch Studio..

The Downtown Westfield Corporation (DWC) would like to thank all the participants who came out to enjoy the yoga and community spirit as well as the businesses who collaborated to make this event a success! Special thanks to Tricia Caminos from Ono Bowls for spearheading the effort and chairing the Yoga on Quimby DWC Promotions Sub-Committee.
