Westfield Memorial Day Parade will take place Monday, May 27

The Annual Westfield Memorial Day Parade will take place Monday, May 27, 2019, beginning at 9am. Bring the kids downtown, gather on either side of E. Broad St., and watch the festivities!

Opening ceremonies at the Veterans Memorial Monument begin at 9am. Participants in this parade are required to assemble in the Lord & Taylor (West) parking lot at 8am. This year's parade route, after the opening ceremonies, will be straight up East Broad St. ending at Fairview Cemetery.

All Westfield organizations and businesses are invited to march in this year's Tribute to Veterans who made the supreme sacrifice fighting for the freedom we often take for granted. They are particularly honored this year because the Martin Wallberg, American Legion Post Number 3 is celebrating its 100th year anniversary. The parade committee urges organizations or individuals to either march in the parade, sponsor a wreath to be placed at the Monument or to make a financial contribution to the parade committee to help offset the costs of running the parade.

The Westfield Memorial Day Parade is sponsored by the Town of Westfield and The American Legion Martin Wallberg Post #3.

If there are any questions regarding participation, guidelines, logistics, line of march, publicity for your organization, etc. please call Stan Cuba at 908-233-2767 (home) or 908-347-3230 (cell).
